2007: I GOT NOTHING ON YOU

Aaaaah, 2007! 2007 foi um ano interessante… acho eu. Sinceramente não me lembro. Em 2007 terminei o sétimo ano, a minha bisavó morreu, a minha prima casou-se (a 07/07/07) e escrevi o meu primeiro livro. Vendo bem, na realidade era um conto de trinta e tal páginas A4. Foi a primeira vez que escrevi algo. Se um dia houver motivos para celebrar a minha carreira, lembrem-se de que ela começou em 2007! Ten freaking years!

2007 foi o ano do Minutes do Midnight e do Favourite Worst Nightmare. Foi o ano em que estreou Gossip Girl e em que terminou Gilmore Girls. 2007 até parece ter sido interessante, não é? Há uns dias, enquanto escrevia um capítulo do possivelmente novo livro, dei por mim a pensar: para onde foram estes dez anos?! No meio da escrita e da reflexão sobre a vida e o tempo, dei por mim a ir procurar aquilo que ouvia em 2007 e decidi juntar tudo numa playlist, porque de vez em quando é sempre bom recordar estes tesourinhos!

Agora contem-me: o que é que ouviam em 2007, o bom e o mau, claro? Têm muitas músicas em comum com a minha playlist?

Aaaaah, 2007! 2007 was an interesting year… I think. I honestly don’t remember. In 2007 I was finishing 7th grade, my great-grandmother died, my cousin got married (at 07/07/07) and I wrote my first book. Well, actually, it was a short story with thirty-something pages. I was the first time I wrote something. If, someday, someone want’s to celebrate my career, please remember it officially started in 2007! Ten freaking years!

2007 was the year of Minutes to Midnight and Favourite Worst Nightmare. It was the year Gossip Girl premiered and the year Gilmore Girls ended. 2007 seems interesting, right? A few days ago, while I was writing a chapter on my next novel, I wondered: where did these ten years go?! Between writing and thinking about life and time, I went looking for what I heard back then and create a playlist. Because it’s cool to remember these things sometimes.
